DayWise ("we", "our", or "the app") is developed by Hakan Kumdakçı. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our iOS application.

Information We Collect

DayWise is designed with your privacy in mind. We collect and store minimal data necessary for the app to function:

• Task Data: Your tasks, timers, and focus session information that you create within the app.
• App Preferences: Your settings and preferences, including which apps you choose to block during focus sessions.

Data Storage and Sync

All your data is stored locally on your device and synced via Apple iCloud. We do not have access to your iCloud data. Your data is protected by your Apple ID and iCloud security measures.

We do not:

• Store your data on our servers
• Have access to your personal information
• Share any data with third parties
• Use analytics or tracking services

Family Controls & App Blocking

DayWise uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls) to enable the focus mode feature. When you block apps during a focus session:

• The list of apps you choose to block stays on your device
• We cannot see which apps you have installed or blocked
• All blocking is handled locally through Apple's secure framework

Data Security

Your data is protected using Apple's built-in security features including device encryption and iCloud encryption. Since we don't collect or store your data on external servers, there is no risk of data breach from our side.

Children's Privacy

DayWise is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
